Joseph Hazel, Group CEO of Apex Health, participated in the 16th Social Business Day in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he joined a panel discussion titled "Making Healthcare Accessible to All: The Role of Technology and Social Business."

The discussion explored how improving access to healthcare requires more than investment and scale. Panellists highlighted the importance of designing healthcare systems that prioritise accessibility from the outset, ensuring quality care reaches communities that need it most.

The session also examined the role of technology in expanding access to healthcare, with discussions focusing on how innovation can help overcome barriers and bring high-quality care closer to underserved populations.

The event also marked the 50th anniversary of the founding of Grameen Bank and the 20th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to Professor Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank.
